Urgent Care Clinics

Patients who have been referred for POAC-funded care may attend one of the listed Urgent Care Clinics across the Auckland region.

To ensure timely and appropriate treatment, patients are asked to bring a printed copy of their referral letter or hospital discharge summary, clearly stating the clinical care required under POAC. If there is an active POAC number, this should be clearly documented and provided to the clinic.

For hospital referrals, the attending Urgent Care Clinic will generate the POAC case on your behalf. This process ensures that care is properly linked to POAC funding and enables the clinic to deliver the treatment required without unnecessary delay.
